GRAND ANTIQUES MARKET IN MILAN`S NAVIGLI CANALS

It´s the most important antiques market in Milan and it takes place in the area between the Naviglio Grande and Naviglio Pavese canals. Every last Sunday of the month, except July, more than 400 stands display their wares of antiques, bric-à-brac and other collectors items.

Everyone will find something satisfying among the vendors of furniture, watches, porcelain, silverware, ethnic antiques, books, games, old radios, prints, books, comics and all types of modern collectables.

Even if you resist the temptation to buy something, the market is certainly a fine occasion to see one of the most characteristic areas of Milan, with a great many art galleries to browse in and all types of restaurants and nightspots.

By Subway
Green-line subway (2) get off at Porta Genova.
By air
There is a shuttle to the Central Train Station, here take the green-line subway (2), get off at Porta Genova.
